We have some catching up to do, for reals...

Dad has kept us oober busy lately, being the little social butterfly that he is. I think we are actually booked up every weekend until like the middle of September! At least. Keep the good times rolling!

So last weekend was the Aflac games in Columbus Georgia. Thursday evening, Joe and his girlfriend Andrea arrived. The folks and Joerea(Joe and Andrea) went to meet Derlej(Derek and Alejandra. side note: the nicknames are so much easier, and fun.) at Taco Mac for some food, yummy beer and good times. Then Friday it was down to business. We all waited for Dad to get off work and get us packed and we were off to glamorous Columbus GA. Friday evening was uneventful, the folks were nice enough to stay at the hotel with us that evening and keep us company. We are starting to get the hang of this hotel thing--good thing, we are getting geared up for a potential beach trip with Forteine and Caligirl in August...I get so excited just typing the words, as much as brother and I love the lake, I can only imagine how much we would LOVE the beach-especially if I were able to share that experience with Caligirl, man-o-mangoberries! Okay, okay back to the story. Saturday the folks, Brother, and I were up bright and early to head to the games. Day 1 was my day, it was my first evers free-style routine. Dad and I had to put together and perform a free-style routine and also compete in a round of toss and fetch. Of course toss and fetch was a breeze, the free-style for us was a fun new experience. Dad picked the song Devour, which was a fast paced alternative style rock song. We were a bit nervous, with it being our first time, but we were just out there to have fun- and that we did! Did I mention it was at least 100 degrees outside everyday that weekend!?!? HOTTTT! Anyways, here's a few pics from free-style...

(yeah, my tounge is toooo long for my mouth when I am hot!)

We had like four fans in each of our crates trying to keep us cool during the down time...

D's just being cute, he can't even help it...

And the folks kept frozen towels and ice packs on us after our runs to cool us off a bit...

And Derlej made it down for the weekend on Saturday...it is always nice to have all the support of our friends...

The Columbus gang...

Day 1 was fun, but we were ready to be out of the heat! Back at the truck, waiting for Dad to cool the truck off for us, Mom looped our leashes to the truck bed to help load stuff back up. I heard Dad say to her, 'Um, you hooked Shade to the truck? Where did he go?!?' As she walked back around to the back of the truck, there they found me taking cover in the shade! I always find a shadey spot, even if it is under the truck...

Party horns anyone?!?! (click on picture to enlarge, it is worth it.)

Saturday night Dens and I hung back at the room while the folks and their friends cooled off in the pool with some beers and a Spidey Man beach ball. Man, the things they do to entertain themselves. Then they all headed out to a yummy dinner at Johnny Carino's. Insert jealousy here.

Day 2...A lil' toss and fetch with 'ol Dens...

Just like playing the piano eh...

Super man?!?

My turn again...

They are disgustingly cute together...

And a proud mamma...

It was a fun, exhausting weekend indeed. Stay tuned for some of the folks' beach trip pictures and some pics and video clips of us swimming at the lake...yeah, we like to swim. ALOT!
