I always like to see where we are going when we first head out...
Brother on the other hand...
He falls asleep sitting up! Who does that?!?! Cows and brother.
Well, after about 3 hours we ended up at this place they call a hotel. A new concept to brother and I. First we walked in and got on an elevator? Not so sure about this thing, but whatevs. Here is out first "elevator ride" as the folks called it...
I was just trying to find a way out-
And here we are in our first ever hotel room...
Of course the folks had to document it...
They take pics of everything...
Then on Saturday evening it was off for a few hours of fun and dinner. The folks hit up downtown Greenville. There we found a really cool park. It was huge! It had an outdoor play going on, water falls, bridges, trails, great landscaping, and lots of outdoor restaurants.
And we got to get in the water some...
This was Mom's favorite bridge...
And this was Dad's favorite bridge with the falls in the background, pretty cool...
It was a fun evening!
Then on Sunday morning we woke up early to get ready for the day's festivities. At first we were not sure how the day would play out, as it was a rainy start. Rain did not stop us though. We had our breakfast of champions, loaded up our stuff for the day and we were off! It was really a short ride to the competitions, but with the rain and all, and brother being so cozy to snuggle with...we just had to take a little snoozer on the way there...
Here are the folks...man, they just love being at the competitions. It is always a lot of fun for em...
And here is brother's first round...you can click on the pics to make them bigger and zoom in...
And my round 1...
Let me back track for a minute...UP to this point, this made my fourth competition and it was brother's third competition. The levels are as follows:
1. Junior
2. Novice
3. Open
4. Super Open
My first two competitions, I entered in the novice rounds and got fourth in both. The last competition we went to at Steeple Chase, brother and I were both in the Super Open, just because they put everyone together...which meant we had to compete against all the pros! Which I did pretty good considering and came in 8th. This time around, Dad decided to skip novice and entered us both in Open. Okay, so with all that being said, here are the results after round one...
I was tied for first and brother was tied for third!!! Now, this was huge deal because brother had never made it within the top 10. So this meant he got to advance to round 2 for his first time evers!!! Way to go Brother, you make me so proud *tear*
In between rounds 1 and 2, we had some showers--which did not stop the show, everyone just competed in the rain...the folks got bundled up...
And, yep, you guessed it...we took another little snoozer. Something about the rain...
And before we knew it, time to get ready for round two...
Brother first...
And then it was my turn again...
Drum Roll please...(enter drum roll noise here)
First place for me and Dad!!!!
'Pssst... hey dad, what is this first deal?' ***** 'It means you got first buddy, good job!'
And I must say, we are really proud of Brother getting 5th place!!! He has come a long way!
*Champion of Open*
Here is our medal...
And the back side...
After all the excitement, Dens was ready to hit the road...
Worn out!!! (I know, we are TOO precious, ALWAYS snuggling)
Man, I LOVE my Daddy...how did I get so lucky?

Now we are back home on Memorial Day, taking it easy and counting down until the next competition. We live for these now. The next one will be in Columbus, GA and we can not wait. Dad may be putting together a free style routine for me, now that I am old enough. We are all stoked about the Columbus competition, it should be lots of fun for the whole family. Catch ya later!
