Weekend O' Fun

On Saturday, Dad did indeed take us to the park. Caligirl and Kona met us up there, that was a pleasant surprise...dad didn't even tell me they were coming! We were there for quite a while, a couple hours I would say. We were pooped! So then on Sunday the folks took Dens and I to a different dog park to meet mom's friends.


I can smell the park once we are within like 5 min of it...I start going crazy...this was like 10 min away, still pretty calm...




And I really think Denver is really getting more comfy in the truck with me. He actually sticks his little face out the window now...



(I always see the folks glancing in their rear view mirrors to see our snouts sticking out the window...apparently it's cute or something?!?)

They are super sweet, but they don't really like to play much. They just run around looking for a way out of the dog park or go around getting people to pet them, they love attention.



I was super excited to play though, and I think brother may have been also...




Once again, we were there for a couple hours. This time we were POOPED!!! For reals.

So we had a lil snoozer on the way back...




Okay, maybe we snoozed the whole way back...



Which I mean, we did have to get rested for a date with the ladies ( Kona and Caligirl, if you havn't caught on by now)...

So Fortein came over bearing gifts, (which the folks loved!) mom and dad's favorite bubbly wine and some yummy smelling soap that doesn't dry out dad's hands :) The folks grilled out some steaks and we all had a scrumptious dinner. And yes, I mean all of us. We got some scraps! I tried some squash and steak and cous-cous(sp?), 3 things I had never had before. Quite delicious...the folks/Fortein can cook! They watched the Grammy's.

Dad and Forest went crazy over this woman...


(apparently she is in both of their "top 3"...whatever that means?)

Mom had to get two pics of him because she was so dorky/excited...




This treat, I did not get to try...



(They must have been good, Forest ate almost half of them that nite and mom ate the other half of em the next day!)

And one last thing before I go...I couldn't blog without including a pic of my sweet sweet love...



One day we will be married :)
