This morning we woke up and Dad took us out to play football. This was a new one for us. We gots the best Dad, let me tell ya.

And then Cali girl came over to play while Dad and Forrest split some wood. They were out there all day, which meant lots o playtime!
Look at all this wood they split...and this wasn't even all of it...

It was so fascinating to watch...

I wasn't worried though...Cali girl and I, we are soul mates so in love, we are so in sync, and I don't mean like the boy band...I mean like we finish each other's sentences, and we now what the other is thinking without even saying it, we are inseparable...

Mom made some chicken and dumplings for the guys, after all their hard work. And then it was back out for more football!

And finally, the "statue of liberty" play that faked em' all out...
Daddy and I took a drive afterwards to deliver some wood to Forrest and Cali's house...gotta make sure she keeps warm during these cold winter days. NOw we are back at home enjoying our own fire that Dad built for us...
All in all, it was a good day. Now for a lil snoozer. Stay warm!

Look, Uncle Clayton is wearing the hoodie that Mommy Joy gave him for Christmas. And I & all the other kitties can see that another doggie's in the picture.
Mommy Joy wanted me to stop by just to tell u guys to inform u'r Dad & Mom about the blog that she started for her cousin, Matt Cobler whom had passed away a couple days ago. She's been taking it pretty hard, but doing this blog has been a good way to remember the fun times she & her family had.
